A woman's body was found inside a burning car early this morning on Rose Street between Webster and Buchanan.

According to SFAppeal:

At approximately 3:30 a.m., San Francisco police and fire personnel were dispatched to the 400 block of Rose Street (a small street between Haight and Page at Buchanan) on a report of a blaze that had ignited a two-door gray Pontiac, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said. After the flames had been extinguished, a body was located inside of the vehicle, according to Esparza. KTVU broadcast is reporting that the body was female.

Police are investigating the case as a homicide. We'll update with any additional details.
