Looking to open up shop in the neighborhood? The retail space formerly occupied by Magpie & Rye is now up for lease.

According to the Craigslist posting, the "ideal location" at Divisadero and Haight is available for $2,500 per month. The ad notes that the spot shares a building with other commercial spaces (see Viper Vapor).

Renovated back in 2010, the tiny 360 square foot retail space was revamped by former residents Prairie Collective and Studio Choo.  When they first took it on, the team described the space as "a big white box with a teeny sink and an awesome window."  With a certain aesthetic in mind, they turned a blank empty space into a small tribute to the old wooden barn look. The  whole renovation was covered in Design Sponge a few years ago.

Now that Prairie Collective, Studio Choo and Magpie & Rye have moved on, the space is empty once again. The light fixtures are still in place, though the wood accents along the walls and ceiling have been removed. The sink has been taken out and replaced by a few metal shelves.
