While there's a lot of buzzing behind closed doors on Divisadero, it's otherwise been a quiet week in the neighborhood. But that doesn't mean there's nothing to look forward to.
We've gathered a few things to add to your calendars for the coming days and weeks ahead.
- Madrone is hosting one of their "No Theme Super Dance Jam Saturday Night" this weekend. $5 entry all night, with tunes by DJs Sonny Phono and Bessed Drest.
- September marks the anniversary month for a couple Divisadero businesses. First off, Mini Bar is celebrating their sixth anniversary on September 7th from 4pm - 8pm. Our favorite teensy spot for libations will have "good eats" and "potent drinks." Sounds good to us.
- Down the street, La Urbana will be hosting a one year anniversary event from September 11th - 16th. We'll keep you abreast of the details as they are announced.
- The Alamo Square Flea Market is coming up on September 14th, when you'll be able to peruse the park in pursuit of antique odds and ends. This year it'll coincide with Western Addition Sunday Streets and Hayes Valley's Urban Air Market.
- If your bank account can't keep up with your yoga obsession, consider working for classes. Yoga Garden is looking for people to clean studios for two hours once a week. In exchangey ou get one free 8-class pass per month. More info here.
- Finally, it's the last day for the Divisadero Art Walk Kickstarter Campaign! Throw a few bucks towards this neighborhood event to help make it bigger and better.
We'll see you out there, Hoodline readers!
