Man Falls From Building At Haight & Cole [Updated]Photo: Camden Avery/Hoodline
SFPD roped off the sidewalk and front of a building on Cole at Haight Street shortly after 8pm tonight, responding to a call that a man had fallen from the four-story structure. According to officers at the scene, the man survived the fall.
It's unclear exactly what happened so far: responding officers say the man fell, while the SFPD's media contact said that someone jumped from the top of the building.

Four police cruisers, a larger medical examiner's vehicle and around half a dozen police were in the area as late as the time of this posting, and the sidewalk and scene are still cleared of traffic.

It remains unclear whether the man was a resident of the building or not; the neighboring property has roof-height scaffolding in place.

We'll update as more details emerge about the incident.
