Though we don't want to jinx it, today could be the day that the Giants secure another World Series victory. At times like these, it's nice to surround yourself with fellow fans.
And if some of those fans happen to be Phish groupies, more's the better.

Tonight's possible clincher starts, as all the games in the series have, at 5:07pm, right after you've hastily left your job for the day (if you're lucky). And, though rowdy behavior at Civic Center Plaza's 2012 World Series viewing party left the event's continuation in doubt, Mayor Lee has confirmed that the city will once again erect a jumbotron in front of City Hall today.

The area will be packed with the orange-and-black masses, but as SFist notes, that's not all: tonight's outdoor viewing party coincides with a Phish concert at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, so you can expect lots (and lots and lots) of people concentrated in the area.

Though 2012 saw some hooliganism at the Civic Center viewing party, the city hopes that the crowd will keep up a family-friendly vibe this time around. There will be a "zero-tolerance" alcohol policy in place, so plan accordingly if you're going to attend.

Whether you plan on watching the game at Civic Center, in the comfort of your own home, or at a bar in between, here's wishing all the best for the boys in black and orange. Go Giants!
