Calling all wine lovers, beer enthusiasts or locals looking for a spot to grab a drink after work of before dinner: as of this afternoon Resolute is open for business. 

The small wine bar and shop has been in the works since last year, and is the first venture for owners Justin Beem and Daniel Brooker. When we interviewed the pair last month, they told us a little about their business philosophy, and how they select the wines they both serve in house, and carry for sale. 

Most importantly, the pair aim to create a safe space for both wine connoisseurs and newbies. "We don’t expect you to know anything about wine. We encourage questions. We discourage arrogance," says Justin. Daniel points out that wine experts should also feel at home at Resolute. "We can meet you where you're at," he says. "We're happy to provide you with as much or as little education as you want."

Along with wine Resolute will carry a well-curated list of local beers on tap, and will offer some small appetizers for those who want a snack and drink after work.

Resolute will be open 4pm - 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4pm to 12am Sundays through Thursdays.
