This week, we shared a chat with Teague Kernan on his new venture in Belle Cora (565 Green St.), an interview with Wilma Pang who is running for District 3 Supervisor, a look at the all-time low business vacancies in the area and news of a recent fire at the Golden Eagle hotel on Broadway.

Looking towards the week ahead, be sure to check out National Night Out taking place at Salesian Boys' & Girls' Club (680 Filbert St.) on Tuesday. Also coming up is a talk on The Good Immigrants: How the Yellow Peril Became the Model Minority with author Madeline Hsu on Thursday, and an art auction featuring Leland Wong on Friday, both at the Chinese Historical Society of America (965 Clay St.).
