A massive Super Bowl 50 Kick-Off Party presented by Hyundai is slated for the waterfront from Pier 35 south to Justin Herman Plaza this Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 9th–10th. The event will feature autograph signing, cheerleaders, a drum line, other fan activities and a free concert.

Ellie Goulding and Train will performing starting at 3:30pm Thursday at Justin Herman Plaza. To get a good spot at the concert, get tickets in advance and make sure to wear your 49ers jersey, shirt or hat. Nearby neighbors should be aware that sound carries, so they might not need tickets to hear the show.

Other Justin Herman activities will run 10am-6pm both days and include a mobile exhibit designed to celebrate the Bay Area’s place in Super Bowl history. The "50 Tour" will feature the eight Vince Lombardi Trophies and photo montages from the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders‘ championship wins.
