Upper Haight Week: Art Walk Fundraiser, Alvord Lake Cleanup, Last Chance For Crepes, MorePhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline

It's been a busy week in the Upper Haight, with a lot of serious news, so let's shift gears and talk about the upcoming holiday weekend.

Remember, it's the last Saturday of the month, which means that you can help Susan Strolis and co. clean up the Alvord Lake area. Find her Saturday morning from 9am-12pm near the SF Rec & Park vehicle, and get your hands dirty. Refreshments will be provided by McDonald's.

Also this weekend, catch the first ever art walk and fundraiser for the Haight Ashbury Street Fair. On Sunday from 1-4pm in the event space at Second Act, you can find local painters, illustrators, doll makers, photographers and creators in "many other mediums" selling their wares. A portion of all sales will go to fund the Street Fair, and there will also be some games and activities to enjoy.

It's free to check out, and even if you don't buy anything, you can donate. And don't forget to visit Crêpe La Vie before they vanish for good.

If you're in the Memorial Day spirit, tonight at 9pm, you can catch the Golden Gate Park Band at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. They'll be playing some patriotic tunes, so don't forget your tiny flag.

On to the rest! You've got music, comedy, crêpes, and more to look forward to. For more events around the city, visit hoodline.com/events.
