The Board of Supervisors' Land Use and Economic Development Committee voted 3–0 yesterday to recommend that the full board vote on a term sheet (the amount and conditions of a lease with the Port of San Francisco) for Teatro ZinZanni's proposed circus dinner theater and hotel project on the Embarcadero and Broadway.

The Port Commission voted to endorse the term sheet in April, and if the Board of Supervisors does the same—which is likely, due to widespread support from the community—the project will still require an environmental impact report go through environmental review and get further input from the Planning Department before construction begins.
