A San Francisco resident has been arrested in connection with a shooting last Wednesday, July 20th, that claimed the life of a 48-year-old man in the Bayview Potrero Hill.

On July 20th, officers reported to the first block of Dakota Street and found San Francisco resident Rayshawn Dejoa LaRue suffering from several gunshot wounds, the SFPD reports today. While paramedics rendered aid, LaRue died at the scene.

SFPD homicide investigators later identified the suspect as 49-year-old Chris Brown. They arrested him early yesterday morning at 25th and Florida in the Mission.
