A shooting at Ellis and Jones streets in the Tenderloin early this morning killed one man, and sent three other people to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to the SFPD, an unidentified man was shot in the chest at 1am, and pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people—a 59-year-old man, 53-year-old man and 49-year-old woman—also suffered gunshot injuries to their legs and feet, and were transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

No suspects have been arrested, and the SFPD has not released any information on potential motives or suspect descriptions.

This is the second homicide in the neighborhood within the past five weeks. In late August, 52-year-old Evaristo Rocha was beaten at Market and Jones, and ultimately died of his injuries weeks later.
