Linguists give animal groups evocative names —a crash of rhinoceroses, a pride of lions, a bellowing of bullfinches— but what do you call several hundred corgis gathered in the same place?
Freaking adorable, that's what.
Nor Cal Corgi Con's fall edition returns to Ocean Beach on Sunday, and for those who appreciate sturdily-built cattle herding dogs with a low center of gravity, there's no place else to be in San Francisco.
Attendees will celebrate the popular breed with a group photo, a corgi race, and of course, merchandise. To get your corgi on, plan to arrive at Ocean Beach around 10am on Saturday, between Stairwell 21 and Fulton St. (across Great Highway from Beach Chalet).
We're sending a photographer to document the event, so say hello!
Here's a look at what else is going on around the Inner Sunset over the next week. For more activities around town, or to submit your own, visit hoodline.com/events.
