This week, police made arrests in two homicides: one that occurred earlier this year in SoMa, and one that occurred in 2013 in Bayview.

The arrest in the Bayview shooting comes more than three years after it originally took place—April 24th, 2013. That afternoon, 27-year-old Trivon Dixon sustained multiple gunshot wounds at 52 Whitney Young Circle, ultimately succumbing to his injuries at SF General Hospital. (A second man, 37-year-old Rory Talley, was fired at but not struck.)

On December 23rd, SFPD investigators arrested a suspect in the case, 28-year-old San Francisco resident Robert Bolden. Bolden was arrested at 3068 Harrison St., and has been booked for murder at the SF County Jail.

A previous suspect in the case, Rodney Hopkins, was booked in March 2014, but was dismissed by the District Attorney’s office, pending further investigation.

The second arrest was in relation to a shooting that occurred at Sixth and Minna streets in SoMa on October 8th. Around 6pm that evening, 33-year-old Alfredo Dixon sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and died of his injuries at SF General Hospital.

On December 20th, officers arrested 20-year-old Sacramento resident Faalogofio Nu’u at 350 Jones St. Nu’u was booked for murder at the SF County Jail.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on either case to contact SFPD anonymously at (415) 575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411, with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
