Emergency responders are on the scene at Lombard and Divisadero following a multi-car collision this afternoon.

According to the SFFD on Twitter, the collision resulted in five injuries, ranging from critical to minor.

Both the police and fire departments are urging the public to avoid the area for the time being.

Update, 12/2: One male victim, age 46, has died following the collision. One female patient remains hospitalized in critical condition, and a male patient was in serious condition, while the other two victims are in less serious condition, reports the Examiner.
