A shooting at the corner of Third and Armstrong streets yesterday afternoon killed one 27-year-old man.

Officers responded to the shooting at 12:35pm Sunday, January 29th, and transferred the victim to the nearest hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made, and the victim's identity has not yet been released.

This was Sunday's second homicide. That morning, a 58-year-old man was found dead of undisclosed injuries in the Excelsior.

Update 2/1: The victim has been identified as 27-year-old South San Francisco resident Justin Willis, the Examiner reports.
