By the end of this month, Jack London Square's Haven (44 Webster St.) restaurant will temporarily close for an "unspecified construction project" starting on Sunday, February 26. As of now, there's no word on when the restaurant will be reopening, reports SFGate.

Operated by restaurant development and management company, Daniel Patterson Group (DPG), Haven is known for modern American dishes like its signature Haven Burger and a family-style prix fixe menu that changes nightly.

For the duration of the project, Executive Chef Matt Brimer will temporarily join the team at DPG's Alta (1420 Market St.) Mid-Market restaurant and bar. Meanwhile, its current chef, Anthony Lee, will lend a hand to Alta's newest location in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood.

According to SF Gate, patrons with reservations after February 26 can reschedule their meal at one of DPG's other restaurants, including Plum Bar (2216 Broadway St.), Alfred's (659 Merchant St.) and Alta (1420 Market St.)— for those still craving some of Chef's Brimer's handiwork.

Haven currently makes no mention of the closure on its Facebook or website, but we'll keep you posted on what's to come.
