A 27-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries yesterday evening after a shooting in San Francisco's Outer Parkside neighborhood, police said.

At 7:02pm, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2500 block of 47th Avenue, according to police. There, officers found the victim and transported him to the hospital.

No arrest has been made in connection with the shooting.

Update, 2:30pm: Police have arrested the suspected shooter and released additional information on the case.

The 27-year-old man was standing in the area of 47th Avenue and Vicente Street, about a block from Ocean Beach, at about 7pm when he was approached by three men in their 30s, according to police.

One of the three men shot him and the three suspects ran from the area. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were able to find and detain all three suspects in the case and booked the suspected shooter in jail. —Scott Morris
