The San Francisco Fire Department extinguished an outdoor fire of unknown origin this morning near Ft. Mason.

According to a department spokesperson, "a small outside fire" that started at 7:45 was out by 8:10. No one was injured or displaced, but smoke was visible from several blocks away.
