A woman robbed a bank on the 400 block of Sutter Street in Union Square on Friday afternoon.

While police did not reveal which bank was robbed, there is only one bank on the block; a Wells Fargo at 460 Sutter St.

The woman, described as being between 35 and 45 years old, entered the bank at 4:09pm and approached a 31-year-old female employee. The suspect demanded money, and the victim complied. No weapons were seen, and the suspect fled the scene.

The FBI is actively seeking a bank robber who has targeted Wells Fargo banks in San Francisco, but it is not clear if this robbery is related to the others.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
