Need a few pick-me-ups after a long week? Here's what this weekend has in store.

Good news for bibliophiles: today is the start of the big book sale at Fort Mason, which runs through the weekend and features more than 500,000 books for $3 or less.

You can also start your Friday off with a quick dip at Ocean Beach, check in with Senator Bernie Sanders as he swings through town and imbibe with the return of Oktoberfest by the Bay.

Other weekend highlights include a hidden SF history bike tour, the monthly Flea Market on Treasure Island, a community festival in the Outer Sunset, a free showing of The Breakfast Club in Dolores Park and a street fair in Cole Valley.

And last, but not least, the Folsom Street Fair kicks off on Sunday morning.
