A 48-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting in the Tenderloin early this morning.

The victim was driving along the 900 block of Geary Boulevard (between Polk and Larkin) at 1:45am, when he encountered a male suspect, and the two got into an argument.

The driver headed around the block, when the suspect fired at his car, striking the victim. The suspect then fled on foot.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
