Libby Jane Cafe
644 Polk St.
Popular with patrons waiting in line to get into Brenda’s on Polk Street, Libby Jane Cafe is an online delivery brunch standout. If you’re looking for a hot breakfast sandwich, try Libby’s Egg & Bacon Ciabatta, which is egg, bacon and tomato frittata on a buttered, toasted ciabatta roll, topped with provolone cheese. The Veggie & Fontina Scramble is another recommended option: asparagus, caramelized onion, red pepper and egg scramble with Fontina cheese on a toasted ciabatta roll. Be sure to also order a blueberry cream biscuit, served with jam.
Barzotto
1270 Valencia St.
Barzotto may be a simple, casual Italian eatery well-known for its dinner menu, but the restaurant also does delivery brunch. Try the Eggs Benedict, served on an Arizmendi English muffin with Canadian bacon, spinach and Hollandaise. If you’re craving morning pasta, order the radiatore carbonara, complete with pecorino, egg and pancetta.
Wise Sons Delicatessen
3150 24th St.
If you’re craving pastrami, check out Wise Son’s delivery menu, specifically the eatery’s Semite Sandwich, which comes with crispy pastrami, Swiss cheese, mustard and a fried egg served on rye bread. There’s also the L.E.O. (lox, scrambled eggs and carmelized onions) and the challah french toast, which is served with maple syrup and seasonal fruit. Be sure to order some potato latkes.
1428 Haight Patio Cafe & Crepery
1428 Haight St.
For something sweet, consider the Berryliciouis Crepe from 1428 Haight Patio Cafe & Crepery. The dish is served with fresh strawberries, banana, blueberries, nutella and powdered sugar, plus whipped cream. The restaurant also serves up Huevos Rancheros, a Breakfast Burrito and Crab Cake Benedict, which comes with handmade crab cakes, two poached eggs, tomato and spinach served on crispy English muffins with Hollandaise sauce.
Soul Groove
655 Ellis St.
If it’s chicken and waffles you want, order some from Soul Groove. You’ll get two pieces of southern fried chicken and a buttermilk waffle served with praline butter (it's also available as a vegan dish). Or, try the Chicken Fried Soul Sandwich, which is a bacon-wrapped and buttermilk battered fried chicken breast served between maple waffles with jalapeño coleslaw and maple barbecue sauce. If you’re considering a side, we recommend the mac n’ cheese.
