3 New Spots To Dine And Drink In The Inner SunsetSip Tea Room. | Photo: Lilmonster A./Yelp

The Inner Sunset's restaurant scene may not be as cutting edge as Valencia Street's, but there's still plenty of new places in the neighborhood to grab a bite or warm up with a hot beverage.

With that in mind, here are three new businesses near Ninth and Irving that are worth a visit:

Sip Tea Room

Founded by a pair of moms who live in the Sunset and Richmond, this modern, fully renovated tea room has taken over the former Secret Garden spot.

The selection of loose-leaf teas ranges from traditional black to varying herbal selections, and all of the food and baked goods on the rotating menu are made in-house, including soups, scones and preserves.

For $26, you can enjoy a full English-style afternoon tea service with tiny sandwiches, scones, and sweets.

The Inner Sunset already has a couple of Korean spots, but this newcomer is the first in the neighborhood to offer Korean-style grill-your-own meats at the table.

For $18 at lunch and $26 at dinner, you'll get all-you-can-eat of a variety of meats, like spicy pork belly, beef bulgogi, and ribeye, along with a selection of appetizers like soft tofu soup, fried squid, and potstickers. Upgrade to the $36 menu for short ribs, prime sirloin, and other pricey cuts.

Hamilton Fog

Wine bar InnerFog recently got a makeover, reconcepting as Hamilton Fog. But the reference isn't intended for Lin-Manuel Miranda fans—it's meant to denote that everything on the menu, from glasses of wine to draft beers to lunch items to snacks, goes for one Hamilton ($10) or less.

That includes a carne asada sandwich, kale salad with avocado, ceviche, and slow-cooked pork ribs.
