If you've got burgers on the brain, you're in luck: we've found three new Oakland eateries that will quell your craving. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood to chow down.

Sideshow

942 Stanford Ave. (between Lowell St. & 60th St.), North Oakland

Sideshow, which took over the space formerly occupied by Grease Box in North Oakland, is serving up an array of breakfast and lunch options, from burgers and sandwiches to shawarmas and wings. The project is an offshoot of Home Grown Oakland, also helmed by owner Mike Beatrice.

Burger options include the Mexi-Cali (with avocado, elote crema, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper jack cheese and aioli) and a Korean BBQ burger with pineapple BBQ sauce and kimchi. Everything comes with a homemade pickle, and you can add garlic fries to your burger as well.

Sideshow also serves breakfast and a selection of entrees like a Korean-style BBQ chicken tray, which comes with rice, red beans, greens and elote. (Check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star Yelp rating, Sideshow has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Shelley K., who was one of the first users to visit Sideshow on November 14th, wrote: "Everything is perfectly cooked. Burgers are juicy and flavorful, wings are amazing, and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to keep coming here."

Sideshow is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am–8pm, and Sunday from 11am–6pm. (It's closed on Tuesday.)

Pattys & Buns Burgers

Promising "real ingredients, real food, real good," Pattys & Buns specializes in burgers made with all-natural Niman Ranch, milkshakes with organic ice cream, and other sustainability-minded takes on American classics.

Options include the Lombard (sumac-mustard patty, onion, tomato, cheddar, housemade pickles) and the Broadway (a burger with sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, housemade pickles, and triple-pepper ranch on an onion bun). There's a vegan burger and a mini burger for kids, too, along with three kinds of fries, shakes, and floats.

Yelp users are still warming up to Pattys & Buns, which currently holds 3.5 stars on the site, but some are already enthusiastic.

Yelper Auni A. wrote: "Ever had a burger, fries, soda, AND a milkshake and said 'Wow, I feel great!' right after? Me neither...until I had Pattys and Buns! Truly, you pay for quality here."

Pattys & Buns is open Friday and Saturday from 11am–9:30pm, and Sunday–Thursday from 11am–8:30pm.

Dallaq Market & Cafe

542-B 9th St. (between Washington St. & Clay St.), Old Oakland

Dallaq Market & Cafe is a new Old Oakland cafe and market, which offer a combination of American fare like burgers and cheesesteaks and Middle Eastern specialties like lamb shawarma and falafel.

On the burger end of things, diners have their choice of a classic cheeseburger, a turkey burger, or a veggie burger, with all the fixings. In addition to regular fries, there are sweet potato and curly fries as well.

Dallaq Market & Cafe's current Yelp rating of four stars indicates the newcomer is finding its way.

Yelper Talia W., who was one of the first users to visit Dallaq Market & Cafe on October 21st, wrote: "This bodega gives you that authentic New York feeling. I only got a Greek salad, but it was amazingly delicious. I will always come here to support their business. The cook was very nice and helpful."

Dallaq Market & Cafe is open Monday–Saturday from 8am–5pm. (It's closed on Sunday.)
