An American Canyon High School teacher has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies related to alleged sexual misconduct with a minor, officials reported. Brad Rowell, 41, a physical education teacher and track coach, has been the subject of an ongoing investigation following reports of inappropriate behavior on campus, which led to his arrest by Napa Sheriff's Detectives.
According to information released by the American Canyon Police Department, Rowell has been booked on charges including contact with a minor for a sexual offense, sexual exploitation of a child, and possession of obscene matter involving a person under 18. The allegations were first brought to light by the American Canyon Police Department's school resource officer, who received reports about the suspect's behavior with a student. This then set the investigation in motion, necessitating further probing into the disturbing allegations.
The police have taken swift action with Rowell now on administrative leave, as stated by the Napa Valley Unified School District. He remains in custody at the Napa County Department of Corrections on a $100,000 bail. The X post by Henry K.
