Much like the city it serves, founded in 1846, Cedar Hill has evolved from a once bustling hub in the Dallas area. Now under Chief Reyes, Cedar Hill's modern-day law enforcement consists of 73 sworn officers, tackling the daily needs of nearly 50,000 residents and managing the influx of an estimated daytime crowd surpassing 100,000 souls.
