A Chicago man's rage on the road has escalated to felony charges after a shooting incident on the Eisenhower Expressway. Steven Moore, 30, is accused of opening fire towards another vehicle on I-94 near the ramp to westbound I-290 this past Friday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Following the alleged road rage encounter which occurred just after 11:00 A.M., the other vehicle was hit multiple times but no one was injured in the fray. Moore now faces three counts of attempted murder as stated by the Illinois State Police. He is currently being held at the Riverdale Police Department, waiting for his detention hearing.

State troopers responded swiftly to reports of the shooting. Through their investigation, they tracked down Moore's vehicle and apprehended him. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office approved the charges the following day, further solidifying Moore's troubles with the law.

Details on the arrest were minimal, but authorities confirmed that the victim's vehicle sustained several shots. "Moore had allegedly opened fire on another vehicle from his car before fleeing the scene," according to WGN-TV
