The Dallas County Sheriff's Department is on the hunt for a hit-and-run driver responsible for the death of an unidentified man early Monday morning. The fatality occurred on I-20, near Cedar Ridge Rd., where deputies, dispatched to the scene at about 2:35 am, discovered the victim's body on the roadway.

Investigators quickly deduced that a vehicle had struck a motorcyclist before fleeing the scene. The rogue vehicle failed to render aid and has yet to be identified.
