Harris County Deputies Arrest Fugitive Dennis Boateng with Multiple Warrants During Traffic StopSource: Facebook/Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

A traffic stop on a suburban street in Harris County escalated into an arrest as deputies brought in a fugitive with a cache of warrants against his name. According to a Facebook post by the Constable's Office, on April 26, Deputy Sergeants halted Dennis Boateng for a violation in the 23100 block of Lost Brook Lane.

Upon checking his identification, it turned out Boateng wasn't just another driver with a taillight out. The man sitting behind the wheel was wanted for a larceny charge hailing from Brazoria County, along with a handful of misdemeanor warrants out of Harris County. Despite the busy road where the traffic stop was made, the officers conducted their investigation without incident.

The Constable's Office was brisk in declaring the results of their roadside inquiry. "Dennis Boateng was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants. His bond and court information have not been set at this time." a statement by Constable Mark Herman.
