Sting and Eminem are set to bring the heat to this year's Formula One U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. Making the announcement this past Monday, COTA revealed that the music icons will headline the Germania Insurance Super Stage with Sting performing on Friday, Oct. 18, and Eminem taking the stage on Saturday, Oct. 19.

According to KVUE, Sting's performance will serve as his singular stop in Texas during his "Sting 3.0" tour, whereas Eminem's appearance will be his first headlining show in five years, aligning with the summer release of his latest album, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)." Tickets to the USGP are confirmed to include access to these post-race concerts, a detail sure to rev up the fans.

There's a twist for early birds who purchased their passes but are now feeling indifferent towards the announced performances. COTA is buying those tickets back at a higher price than the original sale, a move coated in confidence regarding this year's lineup. As per the Austin American Statesman, "COTA will repurchase any general admission, three-day weekend grounds pass for $350," a profit over the initial $299 cost.
