Kicking off Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, the department’s motor officers scored big at the Grand Prairie Police Spring Classic Motorcycle Rodeo. Officer Ellington nabbed multiple accolades, including 3rd place in the Mr. Rodeo, 2nd place in the Expert Metric Division, and 1st place in the Challenge Course. Comrade-in-arms, Officer Kennemur, wasn't far behind with a 5th place in the Expert Metric Division and a sterling 2nd in the Challenge Course, according to the Irving Police Department.

Shepard, Officers Ellington, Kennemur, and Allen, rode their way to 3rd place in the Overall Team competition.
