Los Angeles detectives are on the hunt for three assailants after a brutal stabbing in Palms last month left a man with serious injuries. The Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division is leading the investigation into the attack, which they say occurred on April 23 at around 4 p.m. on the 9000 block of Venice Boulevard, according to their official news release.
Authorities report that the victim was encircled by a trio of attackers, identified as one female and two male suspects. An altercation quickly escalated, with the female suspect striking the man with a metal rod before she, and the two other suspects, inflicted several stab wounds upon him. The male suspects are described as white, ages 25 to 35, and both sporting blond hair. The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded swiftly to the scene, transporting the victim to a nearby hospital where he was listed in serious, but stable condition.
In their pursuit of the perpetrators, the LAPD has now released new images to the public. As reported by KABC, the photographs depict the three suspects thought to be involved in the vicious assault.
As detailed by authorities, the female suspect is said to be black, between 20 and 30 years old, with blond or orange hair, standing about 5'6" tall, with a slim build. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. The investigation into the stabbing continues as officials urge anyone with information to step forward.
