Downtown Nashville is bracing for an influx of some 50,000 Morgan Wallen fans expected to swarm Nissan Stadium starting at 6 p.m., prompting officials to encourage avid concertgoers to plan ahead, according to a bulletin from the Nashville Police Department.

The Woodland Street Bridge will shut down to cars around 5 p.m., turning into a trail for pedestrians and WeGo buses, and parking at the stadium is strictly for those who've ponied up for a presold permit, leaving rideshare as the go-to option for many attendees with no parking pass in hand, when the puck drops at Bridgestone Arena for the Preds' game six Stanley Cup playoff clinch with Vancouver, traffic will amp up—another reason to hightail it downtown sooner rather than later.

But that's not all for the Southern city's evening slate. The Ryman Auditorium will open its doors to fans of Portugal. The Man for an 8 p.m. rock session, while the Nashville Sounds face off against Norfolk in a 6:35 p.m. baseball game at First Horizon Park. A compass of activities spreads across the heart of Nashville, prompting police to make their presence known in areas surrounding all four venues and the city's downtown.
