A recent sting operation at a local massage parlor has landed one woman behind bars facing prostitution charges, law enforcement officials said. On the heels of multiple complaints from the community, Constable Investigators with Mark Herman's office launched a covert probe into the 5 Star Foot Massage located on FM 2920, where illicit services were rumored to be on the menu.

Pretending to be just another set of weary shoulders in search of relief, the officials were instead allegedly offered sex acts for cash by An-An Shih, an employee who was conspicuously absent of a valid massage therapy license; the operation culminated on May 7 when Shih was booked into the Harris County Jail.

Authorities set Shih's bond at a mere $100, and she now awaits her fate in the heavy gavel of County Court 16, according to a statement on the Constable Precinct 4's Facebook page. such establishments might double as fronts for money laundering, human trafficking, and other forms of nefarious underworld economics, the Constable's office warned.
