A devastating crash in Portland's Madison South neighborhood has left a male pedestrian fighting for his life in the hospital, while a young driver faces multiple charges after being arrested at the scene. The collision occurred in the early hours of Saturday, May 4, as police and emergency services hastily responded to the horror unfolded at Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 92nd Avenue.

Officers from the East Precinct, arriving at 2:06 a.m., found the victim with grave injuries. According to Portland Police Bureau's report, medical personnel quickly transported him to receive urgently needed care.
