Ugo Sforza, Organ

Born in Bari in 1982, Ugo Sforza has won prizes as an organ player since youth. He was awarded the 6th annual Italian “Goffredo Giarda” organ prize by the President of the Republic in 2004—in addition to a public favorite prize.

In 2011 he completed a Science of Cultural Heritage degree from the University "Aldo Moro" in Bari.

His discography includes sacred music of the Italian composer Ottavio de Lillo (Foundation “San Nicola e Santi Medici” - Bari, 2005) and organ favourites by J. S. Bach, F. Schubert, C. Franck, M. E. Bossi for Weinberg Records (CD Orgelmusik aus der Elisabethinenkirche - Linz, 2013).

Currently, Mr. Sforza performs recitals at prestigious international concert series, organ festivals and tournaments in Europe and in the US. Since 2003, he has performed duo concerts with the great Italian soprano Annalisa Carbonara. Mr. Sforza composes orchestral and vocal scores for her voice. A
