The SFPD has made an arrest in connection to the murder of a 55-year-old man early yesterday morning on Polk at Broadway.

According to the SFPD, Northern Station officers arrested 28-year-old San Francisco resident Marcus Price at noon yesterday, November 9th. Price was detained on the 1500 block of Vallejo Street, two blocks from the crime scene, and booked into county jail on charges of murder, assault with deadly weapon, mayhem and resisting arrest.

The victim has been identified as San Francisco resident Bruce Sawyer. Officers found Sawyer lying on the ground suffering from multiple stab wounds around 4am yesterday morning. SFFD paramedics rendered aid, but Sawyer died of his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.
