San Francisco was one of more than 260 cities all over the world to hold marches yesterday in honor of women's rights (and against President Donald Trump).

Here's what we saw across the afternoon, in photos — including a variety of hand-made signs, and the popular hand-knit "pussy hats."

Organizers said more than 100,000 people attended from across the region and beyond, despite the rain, and promise more marches to come. 

The event followed a series of anti-Trump protests timed around his inauguration on Friday, and a dueling set of pro-life/pro-choice protests at Civic Center earlier yesterday.
