It may be gloomy, but the "boisterous barking pinnipeds" that call Pier 39 their home don't mind the wet weather. Take a page out of their book this weekend by grabbing an umbrella and heading down to the water for free "sea lion encounter tours," which include complimentary coffee and hot chocolate.
