Two men, ages 20 and 24, sustained life-threatening injuries in a shooting last night near the intersection of Donahue Street and Jerrold Avenue.

According to the SFPD, the victims were driving at about 8:55pm when a suspect vehicle approached and the occupants fired several rounds at their car.

Both victims sustained multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds to their legs and were transferred to the hospital.

The suspect[s], who drove a dark-colored vehicle, fled westbound on Innes Avenue and remain at large.

While police have not confirmed whether this case is linked to the homicide Sunday at Third and Quesada, violence appears to be on the rise in the neighborhood.

There have been seven homicides in the Bayview since the beginning of 2017, an SFPD spokesperson confirmed today.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, there were three homicides—claiming the lives of four people—in all of San Francisco by this time last year.

We'll share more details on this case if and when more information is released.
