A school in San Francisco's Civic Center area has been evacuated this morning because of a bomb threat, according to police.

The scene is at 50 Fell St., police said around 9:45 a.m. LePort Montessori School is listed at that address.
The school is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day, police said.

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management said on Twitter at 9:24 a.m. that a shelter-in-place order has been issued for Fell St. between Van Ness Ave. and Polk St.
