There's a brand-new nail salon and waxing spot in Cow Hollow. Called Top Coat Beauty Studio, the fresh addition is located at 1520 Union St. (between Van Ness & Franklin).

Top Coat offers a full complement of nail services (pricing here), as well as waxing and a selection of facial treatments, from a 60-minute "Power Hour" facial to a 90-minute signature treatment.

The business has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Kathryn G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 14th, said: "An absolutely wonderful new nail salon. The space is clean, inviting, and peaceful. The nail technicians were professional and did an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure."

Yelper Julie M. added: “This is the salon that replaced First Nail Care. It is beautifully renovated and staffed with very friendly ladies! They are having a soft opening special throughout the entire month of June."

And A G. said: "New, cute, clean, and and friendly nail salon. Niki did a great job with my mani and pedi. She was very thorough with cleaning up my cuticles and her massage was amazing."
