Three assailants robbed a man near 19th Avenue and Irving Street on Friday night, leaving the victim with non-life threatening injuries that sent him to the hospital.

Around 11:18pm, officers from Taraval Station responded to a report of a man who was injured and laying on the sidewalk. When police arrived, the 42-year-old victim told them that he was attacked by three men, ages unknown, when he was entering his car.

According to the victim, one of the men pointed a gun at him and demanded his property before all three punched him and stole his wallet, which contained currency, an ATM card and his drivers' license.

The suspects fled east on Irving; the victim remained at the scene while a witness contacted police, who arranged for the victim to be transported to a hospital.
