On August 15th, police arrested three suspects in connection with a jewelry store robbery on the 2400 block of Sacramento St. in Pacific Heights.

The three suspects—53-year-old San Francisco resident Marshall Harris, 60-year-old San Francisco resident Ray Hall, and 52-year-old Oakland resident Michael Alexis—were charged with robbery, elder abuse, and kidnapping. Alexis was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

While police didn't specify which store was robbed, the only jewelry store on the 2400 block is Elite Fine Jewelry at 2480 Sacramento.

The robbery took place on August 8th at 9:30am. During the incident, which occurred when the store was opening, two suspects allegedly approached employees who were entering, then brandished weapons and forced their way in.

Once inside, suspects "demanded high-end jewelry" and held employees hostage while they stole gems and precious metals before fleeing in a waiting getaway car.

Investigating officers quickly located the car several blocks away. They also searched locations in San Francisco and Oakland, and seized evidence related to the crime and a stolen firearm that was allegedly involved in the robbery.

Several divisions and police stations were involved in investigating the case, including officers and investigators from Northern and Central Stations. The Special Investigations Division, Gang Task Force, and Patrol Bureau Task Force also assisted with the case, leading to the arrests of the three suspects.

Bay City News has reported that all three suspects remain in custody, with bail set at $2 million for Harris and Hall, and $2.2 million for Alexis. Their next court date is scheduled for August 28th.
