A 72-year-old man hit another man with his car during an argument in the Castro just before 3pm yesterday afternoon, police reported.

The victim, a 45-year-old man, was working outside of his truck at 18th and Castro streets. The suspect then approached in his car.

The two got into an argument, which escalated when the older man accelerated and hit the victim.

The suspect then fled the scene in his car, but was later arrested.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds and complained of pain, but refused medical attention.
