Yesterday, two young men were hospitalized in two separate shootings in the Bayview, police reported. 

In the first incident, an unknown suspect shot a 19-year-old man at 1:37pm at Revere Avenue and Griffith Street.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and his mother drove him to the hospital, but police say she declined to tell share details.

In the second incident, police responded to reports of shots fired at 7:50pm and found a 20-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening wounds at 3rd Street and Quesada Avenue. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

Investigating officers also located spent shell casings in the area.

No suspect description is available for either incident, and no arrests were made.
