Don't let gloomy weather keep you inside over Veteran's Day weekend; our  event roundup will keep you dry and well-entertained.

Tonight, hustle over to Dashe Cellars (55 4th St. at Fallon) at 6:30 to get the inside track on becoming a homeowner with a free Redfin home buying class.

On Friday evening at 6:30pm, Janna Barkin, a transgender youth rights advocate and yoga teacher, is holding an author event for her book, He's Always Been My Son.

The memoir recounts her family's journey of raising Amaya, their transgender son, from birth to adulthood. The reading, at Left Coast Power Yoga, will be preceded by a donation-based, all-levels yoga class with all proceeds going to LGBT Spectrum Center of Marin.

On Saturday and Sunday, take in Circus Veritas at Kinetic Arts Center or ShadowDance at The Oakland Metropolitan Opera.
