Police arrested a suspect early Saturday morning in the Outer Sunset after he allegedly shot another man during an argument.

The incident took place in the Parkside district at around 2:56 a.m. on the 2300 block of 20th Avenue where the suspect and the victim, both 22, were engaged in a verbal dispute inside the suspect's residence.

After the disagreement escalated, the suspect reportedly fired a round in the air before shooting the victim in the leg. Police responded to the scene and established a perimeter around the building before arresting the suspect.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
