Following a shocking gun battle on Father's Day, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that the sole arrested suspect, Lee Haywood, will not be charged with any crime. Six people were injured during the shootout that began near Pier 39 and continued down the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Jenkins stressed that this was not a random act of violence and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
